Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th 1956 on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. Her father taught in the school system while her mother was a stay-at-home mother. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick started singing and performing at a very young age. Following her win in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 years old, Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get into the world of entertainment. McCormick was chosen to play in her debut major part in 1964, in the tv spot for Mattels most recent doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for The Wind It Up And It's Breaks in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1500 children who had auditioned to be the youngest of three towheaded girls on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick told of how in the 5th season of the television show, she was close to losing her the love of her life to her twin brother Barry Williams.
